HTC Vertex HD Tablet Discovered, Sports Quad-Core Tegra 3 Processor

HTC hasn’t released a tablet in a while, but it looks like a new one is on the horizon.  There are a couple benchmarks floating on the web listing the unannounced device.  The new device was discovered when looking at Nenmark 2 and Antutu benchmarks.  The model displayed is the VertexF_PRM and the brand shown is htc_generic.

These benchmarks expose a few possible features of the new HTC device including Android 4.0.3, an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 1280×752 resolution, and a 1.3GHz processor.  While not confirmed, it’s likely that the new HTC tablet will have a 2.0 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.

If these specs hold true for the final release of the device, the resulting tablet will be a nice addition to the HTC lineup and hopefully aid HTC in returning to the profits of last year.

1280X752? Better be a 7" tablet, because that resolution won't fly any longer on a standard 10" tablet.
