It seems like LG just really wants to get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich into the hands of Spectrum users as soon as possible. An employee has already said that they are now just waiting for Verizon’s green light to roll it out and now they’ve posted a new user guide for the Spectrum running ICS. It shows all of the usual things such as removing notifications or running apps and the other sorts of things that come with ICS and LG’s UI. Some of those new things are the ability to create custom icons and also a “Clean View” mode where you can temporarily show your homescreen without anything on it. These are both nice features that I certainly wouldn’t mind having on my own phone. It certainly looks like LG is really trying to up their ante in the software department. Are any of you guys rocking a Spectrum while anxiously awaiting your Ice Cream Sandwich update?
