Motorola’s newest handset, the Atrix HD, is now available from AT&T for a reasonable $99. The latest iteration in the Atrix family features a 4.5-inch 1280 x 720 HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Users will also get an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1..3-megapixel front-facing camera and 8GB of on-board storage. The Atrix HD runs Motorola’s latest version of Blur on top of Ice Cream Sandwich, but don’t let that fool you. The company’s new skin has been heavily toned down with hardly any changes other than added visuals like squared icons.
If you’re in the market for a new Android handset on AT&T, don’t pass up the Atrix HD. For $99 it’s a solid deal and with such impressive specs and light skinning, the device is almost guaranteed to see a Jelly Bean update in the future. You can get your hands on the Atrix HD at your local AT&T store or head to the carrier’s official website. Also, be sure to check out the launch video below.
