Motorola Dinara Revealed On Their Own Page, Will Go As Atrix HD

As much as we’d like it to, the Android news world never stops revolving, even on holidays. This very fine 4th of July brings one of the biggest leaks in the past few weeks, a phone long rumored. No other than the Motorola Dinara leaked on Motorola’s own page, going by the name of Atrix HD. What does it pack?

  • 4.5″ HD ColorBoost display
  • Splash Resistance
  • 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front shooter
  • Slim 69.9 x 133.5 x 8.4mm body
  • 1780mAh battery
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB onboard storage expandable via microSD
  • 1.5GHz dual-core processor

This bad boy appears to be running a different version of Ice Cream Sandwich from what we’ve been seeing in Motorola’s recent update to the DROID RAZR, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It should be hitting AT&T, and this pretty much confirms the handset. Very RAZR-esque, no?

No unlocked bootloader, no buy.And still doesn't seem like an upgrade over the original Atrix.

Doesn't seem to share anything in common with the original Atrix. No fingerprint scanner, no hardware buttons except what looks to be an Apple-esque one, and it barely raises the bar on the original Atrix (original at 1gb ram, 8gb onboard memory, and 1ghz dualcore). The only "improvement" here is a huge screen that some people may not be comfortable with, and an improved camera. And ICS of course. I'll be getting it regardless as I've grown quite fond of Motorola's build quality (hardware-wise), but I really wish they would have kept more of the Atrix charm. I'm not against this phone in itself though; and maybe I'll see the qualities better when I potentially purchase this.
