NBC Releases Two 2012 Olympics Apps For Android

NBC and Adobe have teamed up to give people the most coverage possible of the 2012 Olympics by creating two Android apps. Together, they will provide over 3.500 hours of content on 32 sports. The two apps are free, but one is not free to use.

The NBC Olympics app will provide all the information you need, including real time schedules, medal counts, TV and online listings, and will provide a second screen experience for use while watching the televised show.

The NBC Olympics Live Extra app will live stream every competition, along with the content on NBC Sports Network, MSNBC, CNBC, and Bravo. It is not free, and you will need a subscription to the channels to watch them.

It’s a great idea for NBC to provide such incredibly comprehensive coverage to Android users, straight on their phone. Download either or both apps to stay tuned to the Olympics!
