For those of you who didn’t know, whenever you plug headphones into the Verizon Galaxy S III, you get what you see in the screenshot. A giant notification saying “Earphones connected to the device” and a seemingly random list of apps that are earphone compatible. From the screenshot, it seems to work really badly. Google Talk is in there… doesn’t seem too logical to me. That plus the “Wifi is off” notification would drive me insane, having half of the notification area taken up. Luckily there is a way to remove it or even edit the apps that appear (if you somehow happen to like it).
First of all, I’d like to say that it is not the fault of any developers or DroidDog if anything happens to your device. Do this at your own risk. Make sure to read instructions carefully before proceeding.
For now, there is no way to do it using a flashable zip.So you’ll have to follow some manual instructions. Hit the source link to check them out, it’s not too hard!
