Some RAZR AND RAZR MAXX Users Experiencing Issues After ICS Update

The Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX phones recently start receiving the Android 4.0 update, and while it’s been well received by many, there are some users experiencing issues with their phone after the update.  Several users have mentioned that the battery life on their phone has decreased dramatically as well as new issues of lagging.  Additionally, there have been reports of overheating and in one case, the user no longer receives a signal after updating to Ice Cream Sandwich.  We have reached out to Verizon on the issue and are awaiting a response.

Let us know how your RAZR or RAZR MAXX is performing after updating to Ice Cream Sandwich.

I went to Verizon yesterday and one of the reps suggested that I do a factory reset on my phone to fix the problem. So far it seems to be working.

I am having the same problems.  On phone with verizon and motorola about it and still not feeling like I'm getting anywhere.  This is the exact problem that took out my droid x.  Now all they want to do is replace my new phone with a used phone...they are not listening that the problem is in the update.  Phone burning up, data usage tripled, keyboard screwing up, battery only last a couple hours.

deff a problem my bat lasts about half as long and the ram usage is always very high. also the screen often gets extreamly hot now.

Ics update works well on razor max ,except for problems with the headphone jack.with headphones plugged in audio still plays through phone speaker.

Multiple issues with the ICS update.

Reduced signal (much lower than I was getting with Gingerbread).

Speed test shows 3G rate of .02Mbps Down .70Mbps Up after update.

Battery life reduced.

Phone runs hotter that before.

Notifications row is so dim it's very hard to read.

Email (not gmail) client handles attached email so slow it often times out before they open. This was not an issue before the upgrade.
