Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II, Epic 4G Touch ICS Update Made Official

It’s official!  The day is finally here for Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II, Epic 4G Touch owners.  Yes you, the owners of the device with the extremely long name.  You’re getting Ice Cream Sandwich, Android 4.0.4.  The signs have all been leading to today with leaked documents and the source being made available Wednesday.  Now, documents have been made available on Sprint’s website confirming the informatino we’ve been speculating as can be seen above.  What we know about the ICS roll out it that it starts today, 7/12, and is supposed to go through 7/20.  So, you’ll either be notified of the update on the device or you can manually check for updates if you’re impatient.  That no guarantee when you’ll get the update between 7/12 and 7/20, but it may get you the update a bit faster if you check manually.  Keep your devices charged so the update doesn’t get delayed any longer.  Who’s stoked?  I am.  I’m mostly stoked about the source being released because I’ve been on the FF18 release build for about 3 weeks already, but I’m really stoked for all you other Epic 4G Touch owners to also enjoy the ICS goodness.  I’ve really enjoyed ICS on the Epic 4G Touch and I hope you do too.  Let us know when you get your update and what you think…
