T-Mobile Galaxy Note Already Set To Receive An OTA Update

T-Mobile may have only announced the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note just today but they’re already planning an over-the-air update for the device. It’s just a minor update to Android 4.0.3 that includes some bug fixes. The device does ship with Ice Cream Sandwich but this is just a slightly updated version with some bug fixes probably thrown in. How about you, folks? Are you planning on picking up the gargantuan Galaxy Note on T-Mobile?

Too early they release the update. Is there anything wrong with the device?

This is really unfortunate.  I hope that one of you well informed "internet journalists" can tell me what TMo was thinking with this release.

I wanted to get this phone so bad when it first was released for AT&T several months ago.  Rumors swarmed all about saying that this famed Phablet would be coming out on TMo.  So I held off thinking that I would be "rewarded" for my patience.  Now, here we are on the door step of the Galaxy Note 2 release on August 15, TMo now decides to release the older model on the 8th?  SMH.

Did I miss something?

oogunlegan Yeah it's amazing that TMobile would launch a year-old device for $250, literally ONE week before the new one.

Terrible business decision if you ask me.
