Update Hits Google Play Music With New Widget, Better UI, And More

It’s not all that often that Google Play Music gets an update but when it does, it’s usually a good one. Today’s update brings in some nice new features such as:

* Now Playing queue that allows for queuing and reordering of currenty playing music.
* New UI for navigation with transport controls on the action bar.
* New large album art view on Recent.
* Playlist art is now constructed from album art of songs in the playlist.
* Now Playing widget has album art and support for thumbs up.
* Harder, better, faster, stronger.

I’ve tried it out for myself and it certainly makes the app snappier along with bringing in a better look and feel. If you use Google Music, go ahead and let us know in the comments, would you?

Absolutely love the changes, especially putting Playlist as the first tab.

Queue is pretty cool, but when listening to just one album at a time, I do not want my queue to build to be so big! Interface is looking great! Jaybird...agreed.

They need to have an option to remove music that you made available offline straight through your phone, but other than that the update was pretty good
