The Samsung Galaxy S III on Verizon has finally been rooted, putting unpleasant thoughts of a locked bootloader on the backburner, temporarily. A member over at RootzWiki by the name of InvisibleK has managed to build an entire rooted system image on top of an existing Clockwork Mod recovery specifically for the Verizon variant. While it’s not exactly the easiest method, it can be accomplished with a little flashing and some minor ADB tinkering. As always, rooting will void your warranty and just remember that you are responsible for anything that happens to your phone. If you’re willing to take the plunge you can head over to the source link to get started.
