Why is it that we have to buy both a tablet and a gaming device like a Vita? Tablets don’t have proper gaming controls, thus cannot be used for some hardcore gaming. Well that’s all about to change with the Wikipad.
The Wikipad is a 10.1″ tablet with the standard 1280×800 IPS display, powered by a 1.4 GHz Tegra 3, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage (I hope they bump that up, games are pretty big, and both my phone and tablet have their 16GB full). It will also ship with Android Jelly Bean, meaning it will be current and buttery smooth. It’ll also have dual cameras, 8MP rear and 2MP front.
Not only will it have an awesome looking gaming controller dock, but it will actually be included in the box. This is a very wise decision, so people will not feel their initial tablet purchase to be incomplete. As you can see, it would be covering a lot of the tablets sides. However, it will not cover a single button, port, or speaker. Seems like the perfect design.
There is a lot to be excited about, and if this tablet comes out soon, it could be a real winner. Considering how much Android gaming is booming recently,t his could be a fantastic product for serious gamers like me. Put it on your wish list, because it should be coming before the end of this year. Who’s excited?
