Android Open Kang Project Releases First Jelly Bean Build

While AOKP beat the CyanogenMod team to fully featured build of Ice Cream Sandwich, it seems that CyanogenMod has hit Jelly Bean first. Well AOKP has finally released a Jelly Bean build, and they did not hold back. A lot of the ICS features have already been implemented into this build, so you can expect a very good experience. Some of the features include:

  • Notification Toggles
  • Lockscreen tweaks (no custom targets yet)
  • Navigation bar modifications
  • Custom kernel performance options
  • LED colors
  • Notification wallpapers
  • Phone ringer modifications (Flip call to silent, silent/vibrate when headphones are in)
  • Plus more!

Go to the source link to see if it has been released for your device, and download the appropriate build when the downloads are up!

Just a followup, this is such an incorrect statement. The AOKP is a RELEASE CANDIDATE, and the Cyanogenmod jelly bean is NIGHTLIES. AOKP has had nightlies for almost a month. Stop giving Cyanogenmod the credit for AOKP being first.

Incorrect. AOKP has had multiple builds for Jelly Bean dating back to June. Cyanogenmod was BEHIND AOKP, not the otherway around.
