Full Breakdown Of Samsung’s Infringing Products and Damages Owed

In light of Samsung’s guilty verdict, we’ve decided to share the entire list of devices that the jury found to be infringing upon Apple’s patents. In addition, we’ve included the actual amount the manufacturer owes in damages for each device.

The amount of those damages must be adequate to compensate the patent holder for the infringement. A damages award should put the patent holder in approximately the financial position it would have been in had the infringement not occurred, but in no event may the damages award be less than a reasonable royalty.  – Jury Instructions

Now that we have the official list, do you feel like all of the devices listed above look or behave like other products on the market? Personally, I can spot a few handsets, including the Continuum and Epic 4G, that I feel shouldn’t be on that list or should have less severe penalties considering their unique form factors.. Either way, be sure to share your thoughts below.

is This judge dreaming?  I had HTC phones that look like this well before Iphone was sketch on a drawing board.

I still have them in a box.  Can anyone say "Defense Exhibit A"?

Apple is just selfish because they're losing sale. They know that samsung is the number one bestseller in the world and shooting up fast.

Complete B.S!....I AGREE, The jury is Apple share holders! Apple is just mad because Samsung sales are kicking Apples ass! ^_^ The ONLY thing good about Apple is that Steve Jobs is DEAD! :p

How come the original Galaxy S didn't get any damage award? To think that's the highlight of the trial too! Shows what the jury is. sigh.

Damn. WTF are these people smoking? As an original Epic 4g and now a the Epic Touch owner, these phones are far from what the iPhone looks like, yet, they got the biggest penalty amounts. For all our sakes I hope Samsung wins on the appeals. Maybe the judge should have asked the JURY if they were smoking crack...
