HTC Revenue Falls 45% Compared To Last Year

HTC hasn’t been doing so well. They’ve announced their July 2012 revenues, and they aren’t looking good. Their revenues are down about $168 million from their May revenues, and a massive $835 million from last June. They’ve also faced a 35% fall in revenue in Q1 of 2012 and a 57.8% in Q2.

This is following the closing of their South Korean offices (which makes sense, considering how many people use Samsung’s Galaxy S series phones in South Korea). I don’t think it was worth competing with Samsung on their home turf. But otherwise, they should be doing a lot better. Their One series is quite good, and should be doing better.
