I guess we’re beginning to see a pattern here with upcoming Samsung handsets as renders start to leak out for the Galaxy Note 2, just as they did for the Galaxy S III. The folks at GSMArena, received the image from an anonymous source who reported a 5.5″ Super AMOLED+ display, 8 megapixel camera and a Exynos 4 quad-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz.
With Samsung’s official announcement coming later this month, we expect to see a few more alleged renders surface, but this image does fall in line with the idea that the Galaxy Note 2 would have a Galaxy S III inspired design.
So, is this the real deal? That’s hard to tell, and we definitely learned our experience with the Galaxy S III, that rendered images are a dime a dozen. So, take this with a grain of salt and see if this is in fact the real deal, if it suits your fancy.
On a separate note, GSMArena’s source also claims the Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S III is almost ready and will be released alongside the Galaxy Note 2 at the Samsung press event on August 29th.
