With just two days from Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 announcement at IFA 2012, an additional leak has been released as to the specifics of the phablet. Considering we still know almost nothing about the upcoming device, those interested in knowing more, are hoping this rumor ends up actually being true (unlike certain previous leaks).
Nevertheless, the newest leak shares details as to the colors that will be made available upon the device’s launch. This latest news comes from SamMobile, which has had a good track record with Samsung leaks.
The report, which seems to have come from a retailer spreadsheet, lists the official branding as “GALAXY Note II,” alongside the model number GT-N7100 (the original note was GT-N7000). Also reported are two color variations — “Ceramic White” and another marked as TBD (To Be Determined), though Black would be a good bet.
According to the site’s sources, the Note 2 will appear during week 40 (Oct. 1-7), alongside a new Galaxy S3 color – “Titan Grey”. This also coincides with when we’re expecting to see the elusive Black Galaxy SIII land on store shelves, so it’s possible that “Titan Grey” is the official marketing name for this new S3 color.
Of course, keep in mind this is still rumor territory. DroidDog will continue to monitor the sitution and keep you updated leading up to the official announcement of the Galaxy Note 2 later this week.
