The LG Optimus Vu hasn’t even come out in the states (and I don’t much want it to), yet LG has already announced the Vu II. They have given no info on how it will differ, so we don’t know if it will be more powerful just yet. However, the one detail they did divulge, is that the Vu II will have an IR blaster a la the Galaxy Tab 2 7. Paired with the QRemote app, this will allow you to control TV’s and set top boxes. A nice feature, but not much of a differentiating factor in a phone.
Hopefully it will contain more changes. And if the QRemote app screenshot is from the Vu II, we know it’ll have the same screen ratio as the current Vu (which is indeed a bad thing in my opinion). We’ll see how this phone turns out, but they will need to put a lot of work into it to make it competition to the Galaxy Note II (or even the original Note for that matter).
