The Hauwei Ascend P1 has only just been made available in the UK, but sources are now reporting that the smartphone will be given a few hardware improvements as it makes a full-scale launch.
Before the smartphone hits European stores, Huawei will be overhauling the hardware to give it a more “premium” feel. In addition, an extended 1,800mAh battery will be included, a slight bump from the original 1670mAh that debuted on the phone in January.
It’s entirely possible that the hardware overhaul and extra battery life could make the P1 relevant again. Even with it’s mediocre specs, the Ascend P1 is a more than capable device. Sure, it may not be equipped with the latest quad-core chip, but at least its running stock Ice Cream Sandwich.
