Samsung, Boost And Virgin Mobile Team Up For Event In NYC On August 22nd

Some of the better-known pre-paid carriers are getting ready for something big. It appears Boost and Virgin Mobile are partnering with Samsung for an event in New York City on August 22nd to announce some “big mobile news”. Anything beyond that is unknown, but we’re sure a new phone is in store —  a pre-paid Galaxy S III, perhaps? Either way, it looks like we’ll have to wait a couple of weeks to find out what these three have up their sleeves.

Since Boost and Virgin run on Sprints 3G network I am too afraid to give them a shot.  You go to Sprint blogs and 90% ore more of the comments are people complaining about how bad the network is and how they cant even use their unlimited data.  I honestly dont know how they have more customers than Tmobile.  I would switch to Sprint or one of their prepaid plans in a second if I could have any faith in their network. I need a reliable phone...but these prepaids do need higher quality phones.  I wish Straight Talk would do the same.  Theyre selling poor phones that are couple of OS back
