A Sprint memo has been leaked showing that coming August 19th, Sprint will be giving out free extended batteries for Galaxy Nexus owners. That’s $50 in savings. Literally free. More info:

We aren’t sure why they’re doing this (maybe too many people complained about bad battery life on the Galaxy Nexus, since that’s a known fact for most people), but it’s a great deal for anyone. There is no reason not to pick one up! You’ll have to pay shipping charges, but that’s definitely worth an extended battery. Just wait a few more days!
