Sprint announced today that their next 4G LTE device, the verbose Motorola Photon Q will be made available on the NOW Network beginning on August 19. It is priced at $199 with a two-year contract. Sprint will begin taking pre-orders for the device today, with pre-order customers receiving their handsets as early as this Friday, August 17.
The Photon Q rocks a full QWERTY keyboard with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, HDMI port, NFC, a qHD 4.3-inch “ColorBoost” display, 4G LTE technology, and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. In addition, Sprint’s 4G LTE network just made its official debut, and it is now available in Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Kansas City, San Francisco, San Antonio, and Waco.
