Verizon Wireless and Samsung are announcing the release of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 on Verizon’s network beginning August 17th. Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 owners will have access to Verizon’s 4G LTE wireless network.

The newest Samsung tablet in Verizon’s portfolio is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and comes with multimedia-rich apps like Netflix and Samsung’s Media Hub for watching movies and TV shows.
