Yet Another Samsung/Apple Lawsuit, Galaxy Nexus Had ‘Minuscule’ Sales

Apple and Samsung may be having the lawsuit of the century right now, but that’s not the only one the two companies are fighting. Not too long ago, Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus was banned due to a Universal Search feature that infringed on Apple’s patents. Samsung quickly corrected this, but Apple’s coming for blood.

In their defense, Samsung claimed that the Galaxy Nexus had ‘minuscule’ sales, and did not affect Apple’s sales. They went on to state that the Nexus only held about 0.5% of the market in its first two quarters of release, with only $250 million in total sales. The Galaxy Nexus could face another ban, so stay locked to DroidDog for all the latest on the patent wars.

I really hope Google puts a stop to Apples evil ways. All they do is bully the competition by suing them. I say Google blocks the sales of iphones in the US then Apple's stock diminishes to what they were in the 80's. They let their ego and power get the best of them and now they are going to ruin what they had because of greed. They know their days are numbered evidently and now they are trying everything they can to put a stop to it. While they feel like every patent is their's how come they themselves have used others ideas and patents yet feel they have the right to it? Is it because of how rich they have become, because that's what I am starting to believe. I bet they feel that they have enough money to buy their way into anything... well guess what Apple? Money can't fix everything otherwise Steve Jobs would have been alive today.

So Apple sued because Android & Samsung wanted to make their device as user friendly as they could? (Yeah, yeah, I understand that they use patents as an excuse for their anti-competitive, anti-social behaviors. I get it, really I do--Apple is scared witless of competition so they sue.) Maybe I should I sue Apple for preventing me from getting the device I deserve (and that is definitely NOT Apple).

 

(Oh, and regarding Apple's "generous" offer to license their technology... oh please, that's little more than demanding protection money.)

@kanoneyez Yes. Apple is being a dip shit right now. I'm not even sure how they got universal search awarded. That's been around for quite some time. I hate Apple with a passion!
