AT&T Samsung Captivate Glide Getting Ice Cream Sandwich Today
The Samsung Captivate Glide on AT&T was a pretty cool phone when it came out. Nice keyboard, speedy, and TouchWiz 4 over Gingerbread was bordering the high end for the time. Now, owners of the Glide can get an update to Ice Cream Sandwich, which I’m sure is appreciated.
The update will not be OTA, but will be available in Samsung’s desktop software Kies. You’ll need a computer to update. For instructions and downloads, go to the Samsung support page. Everything is simple and laid out for you. An update is always a good time, so tell us how it goes in the comments!
DONT DO IT!!!!! no back light on the keys, no more screen shot, phone locks after a call, half the time you cant answer a call, pages randomly open like settings and the sort. phone drops signal randomly, worst thing ever for this great phone
