Today, an update was made available for the AT&T Samsung Galaxy SIII. This latest 82MB OTA upgrade updates AT&T’s SIII to version UCALH9. This new version adds a few features that were added to the international model a few weeks back.
The most noticeable change is the new brightness slider in the notification dropdown, though according to forum posters over at Android Central, there are also new VPN and enterprise security enhancements. For the technically-minded, a new radio firmware is also included — version I747UCLH9. Overall however the update is very minor.
Unfortunately the update does not bring Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with it, so for now AT&T’s SIII is still runnng Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. To check if your AT&T Galaxy SIII has the OTA update available, head to Settings > About phone > Software update.
