AT&T Sony Xperia Ion Users Receiving Ice Cream Sandwich Update
When Sony released the Xperia Ion with Gingerbread pre-installed, many Android users were left asking why? The Japanese tech giant, however, promised it would be updating the device to 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich before the end of the year. Now shortly after the international Xperia Ion began receiving the Ice Cream Sandwich update, the AT&T model has started to show up in Sony’s PC companion software – SuS. According to users over at the XDA forums the AT&T model, LT28AT, is being pushed up to software build 6.1.c.1.105 which brings all of the features and visual cues associated with ICS.
At this time it is not known what additional improvements or changes have been implemented as we wait for AT&T to make an official statement. Have you received the update? What are some of the changes you’ve noticed? Was it worth the wait?
Stay tuned to DroidDog for additional details as they become available.

they did roll out the ics update but stopped due to finding a few ''bugs'' within the update they need to give us 4.1 this is getting outrageous
