Barnes & Noble Launching New NOOK Video Service To Compete With Amazon And Google

When your two biggest Android competitors in the tablet market have their own stores for video content, what do you do? Launch your own, of course. That’s exactly what Barnes & Noble is doing with NOOK Video. It’ll be on their line of tablets and will have content from HBO, Sony Pictures, STARZ, Walt Disney Studios, Viacom, and Warner Bros. Definitely a good lineup, and great for customers. And if that wasn’t enough, it also has Ultraviolet integration to sync existing Blu-Ray and DVD libraries to your digital library. All of this will be available in the fall in the US and during holiday season in the UK.
