Google Maps Now Provides Search History

Google Maps for Android has received an update today, and it’s not your typical bug-fixer. The app will now provide your history of searched locations, from all platforms. That’s right, if you looked something up on your computer, it will also show up on your phone or tablet. A nifty feature from Google, no doubt, as they’re always looking for ways to make our lives just that much easier.

Thanks for this update! I always use my google maps because I love going into different place in our town. So might as well, this would be a benefit for me.

Shame Google have disabled the Latitude shortcut though - was really useful to me rather than having to access it via maps.

It also has one handed zoom... double tap the screen and slide your finger (or thumb) up or down.. a very nifty feature that leaves me thinking why no one else though of this before...
