It looks like September 6th is shaping up to be a big day for Verizon’s Android lineup with the launch of not one, but two devices. With the Samsung Galaxy Stellar and the LG Intuition arriving the day after Verizon’s big announcement with Motorola, Big Red is certainly beefing up their Android lineup. The boys from Engadget got their hands on some internal Verizon docs pinpointing the Intuition launch as September 6th online and through retail on September 10th.
LG’s Galaxy Note competitor features Ice Cream Sandwich, a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S3 processor, LTE, 1GB RAM, Gorilla Glass, 5″ IPS display with HD resolution, 15 hours of talk time, 8 megapixel rear camera, and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. Ultimately, you’re stuck with 32GB of internal memory as the LG Intuition doesn’t feature an expandable microSD slot.
The Intuition arrives as Verizon’s variant of LG’s Optimus Vu device and is ultimately set to go up against the original Galaxy Note, which already makes it look a little dated on the heels of the Galaxy Note II announcement. The real question we’re asking is will anyone make a play for this device before they hear word on which US carriers the Galaxy Note II will arrive on, as its easily the better of the two devices?
Or will you pick this up regardless if the price is right?
