We had a recent spec leak for the LG Optimus Vu II, and to be honest, we weren’t impressed. But now the specs are official, and we have a little more to like. Here is what the newest block of a smartphone will come with:
- 2,150 mAh removable battery, a 70 mAh bump
- 2GB of RAM, from 1GB
- microSD card slot added
- Snapdragon S4 Plus 1.5 GHz dual core, replacing a Snapdragon S3
- Same 5″ 768×1024 4:3 IPS display
- Rubberdium Pen 2.0, finer tip
- Bluetooth 4.0
- LTE with VoLTE
Sure, the spec bump is nice, but the Snapdragon S3 was a horrible choice in the first place, and the S4 Plus is about to be replaced by the S4 Pro as the high end standard. However, there are a few good things to be found. First, there might be a slot for the Rubberdium pen in the body this time around. Also, the VoLTE part caught our eye. Though it won’t be available in America for a while, LG is preparing it in their own country. VoLTE is Voice over LTE, which means much higher audio quality in calls. Can’t complain about that.
So now that the spec list is official, what do you guys think of the Vu II? Would you get it? Or is it a little too late, with the imminent release of the Galaxy Note II? Tell us in the comments!
