So what do we now know about this upcoming Sprint smartphone? Well, it will definitely run on Sprint’s slowly growing LTE network, feature a 4″ display, and run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz. The Galaxy Victory will also feature NFC capability, and Samsung’s S Beam technology ala the Galaxy S III which uses NFC to connect two devices allowing you to share files, photos, and videos with either device. It looks like the Galaxy Victory LTE will also lack a physical home button and have four capacitive buttons beneath the display and feature Google Wallet.
All-in-all, a pretty mid-range Samsung device for the middle of 2012, but we’re still willing to give it the benefit of the doubt until we can go hands on and see how it performs.
Still no word on price or release date, but given that the device is on Sprint’s September promotion sheet, we expect to see it hit store shelves very shortly.
