Nissan And Infiniti Now Using Smartphones And Tablets To Process Car Lease Returns

Usually, returning a leased car takes a lot of paperwork and time. Nissan and Infiniti aim to change that, in a fairly simple way. Instead of all that paperwork, they’d be using iOS or Android device, be it a smartphone or a tablet. They would take a photo of the sticker with the Vehicle Identification Number, it brings up all the lease information, and the person can sign directly on the device.

If they wanted to buy the car, the app that they use could do that too. The app doesn’t do anything crazy, but it just makes a not-so-simple process a lot easier. I’m glad to see companies embrace technology like this.

Oh no. That one guy said "there's gotta be an app for that." Which is very close to Apple's "there's an app for that" trademarked tagline. Here comes another lawsuit. (You can't just say words that have been trademarked, especially on TV." You gotta pay the royalties on it. Listen! I can hear those Apple dogs coming! Oh, and they're showing their teeth. Bad sign.
