Official Confirmation by Verizon – LG Intuition arrives September 6 for $199

Verizon has officially confirmed today, despite numerous leaks for some time now, that the LG Intuition will be arriving on September 6th for $199.99. The Intuition is a a 4G LTE version of the Optimus Vu. Overall the new phone, is a direct twin externally to the Optimus Vu, with a 5-inch, 4:3 aspect ration display, 8 megapixel camera, and slim plastic chassis. Internally, the quad-core Tegra 3 processor from the Vu has been swapped out for a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chip paired with 1GB of RAM. This change is necessary to supporting Verizon’s 4LTE service.

The Intuition launches with Android 4.0 and LG’s Optimus 3.0 UI on board. No word from either Verizon or LG has arrived as to whether or not the device has a planned 4.1 upgrade. As previously mentioned, Verizon will offer the Intuition through its online store starting on September 6th with in-store availability planned for September 10th.
