Samsung Announces A New Galaxy SIII Color – Martian Pink – Limited Edition Model

Samsung has been announcing new color variations for its flagship Galaxy SIII it seems like every day recently. Well looks like Samsung is at it again with the Korean company expanding the color palette for the SIII by now offering the limited edition Martian Pink. Samsung only plans on making 100,000 units available for the general public. As of now, the limited-edition color can only be found in Korea across Korean wireless carriers. Never the less, Samsung issued a statement during the announcement:

“The Martian pink Galaxy S III is refined and sensuous. With its distinctive style, we expect a great response from the younger generation and women.”

This new model is scheduled to hit shelves in Korea next week and will be the seventh color for the Galaxy S3 which will also be available in Marble White, Pebble Blue, Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black, and Titanium Grey.

Are you jealous of our Korean peers for having such a bright color that does not appear to be made available internationally? Do you prefer Martian Pink to the other color variations?

Stay tuned to DroidDog for continued coverage of all things Galaxy SIII.

hahhahhahahahhhaahaha!!!! Interesting move Samsung. While most in the western world would see pink as a gender-specific appeal (boys like blue, girls like pink), you choose to make it "other-worldly." How pink and the "red planet" are related is beyond me. I love your products Sammy, but this is just plain, uhhhh, "silly."

And by the way, I thought men were from Mars and women were from Venus. Now I'm really confused. LOL.
