T-Mobile customers were quite excited upon originally hearing that the Original Samsung Galaxy Note was being released on their carrier. Unfortunately as quickly as that news arrived, it disappeared just as quickly. Despite the wait, T-Mobile’s cancellation of the phablet hinted that perhaps Samsung’s successor to the device was the reason for the original’s demise. Well according to SAMMobile – their sources have indeed confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note II will be coming to T-Mobile in the US.
Much like the Samsung Galaxy SIII, the Samsung Galaxy Note II will be coming to all major US carriers including T-Mobile. It has been confirmed that the T-Mobile Variant of the Galaxy Note II will be known as SGH-T889.
SAMMobile’s sources report that the device will be having the same specifications as the international variant and will be running on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network. The device will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed.
Samsung is currently working really hard testing Jelly Bean for the T-Mobile variant. Samsung compiles test builds every 4/5 days and distributes them to their device testers via OTA update. DroidDog will continue to keep you updated as new details emerge on Samsung’s new Note devices.
