The LG Intuition, which is Verizon’s Optimus Vu variant, just came out a few short weeks ago in the US. Now we have leaked specs for the Optimus Vu II, the successor to the Vu. It will contain the same 5″ display with the strange and not very dense resolution of 1024×768, a new Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 dual core at 1.5 GHz paired with 2GB of RAM, an 8MP BSI camera, a 2,150 mAh battery, and Android 4.0. No mention of the Rubberdium, which is strange.
All in all, this phone is barely an upgrade. The only significant part is the bump to a Snapdragon S4, which the original should have launched with in the first place. The original Galaxy Note still bests the Vu II in every way, and that’s a bit sad. LG, you’ll have to try a little harder. Though your teased remote app might be interesting, if it hits the states. Samsung hasn’t put that in phones yet, just tablets.
