This is the robot that was developed to test phones for T-Mobile. It is a big finger that pokes phones, putting them through “everyday use.” While phone testing is a laborious process, this makes it easier and more awesome. And yes, good sir, robots ARE cool.
OMG That's so stupid, i tell you as qa engineer. There is a bunch of automation tools available without any robotic fingers... Phone screen is tested from top to the bottom by hundreds of engineers who were working on it. Any coverage can be achieved by simple usb connection. All the companies such as motorola, htc, nokia, samsung etc are using those to test their devices. Robotic finger thing is just a promo video for the customers to show how much tmobile cares about quality.

This robot appears to be awesome. But m agreed with YK too. There are many automation tools available for the work done by robot. Its nice share and i will look forward to it.
