Later today at 2PM, Motorola will be hosting their joint event with Verizon in New York City. The event is said to be the unveiling of their new devices – believed to be the Motorola DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR M 4G LTE. It has been rumored that even if both smartphones are announced at the event, the DROID RAZR M 4G LTE may see a release first; with the higher-end DROID RAZR HD coming later in the year. These rumors are only furthered strengthened by the fact that images and specification for the DROID RAZR M 4G LTE leaked last week with the phone looking ready to launch.
New details have emerged from Verizon’s very own site, with an accessories page for the Motorola DROID RAZR M 4G LTE appearing. At this point there are currently only 4 accessories listed, however more are expected following the smartphone’s officially launch. Interestingly enough, there are no accessories listed for the DROID RAZR HD hence the belief the phone may arrive just prior to the holiday season.
The DROID RAZR M 4G LTE is rumored to feature a 4.3″ qHD Super AMOLED display with advanced Gorilla Glass 2; the same ColorBoost screen that is on the Motorola PHOTON Q 4G LTE. Internally, the device will sport a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. An 8MP rear camera with LED flash can also capture video in 1080p, while the 3MP front-facing camera takes self -portraits and supports video chat.
