ZTE isn’t the best known Android manufacturer, but they do pump out some decent budget phones on prepaid carriers. Their latest is the Engage, which will be hitting Cricket on October 2nd. The phone offers mid-range specs, like 1.4GHz single-core Snapdragon S2 processor, 4-inch 480×800 display, 8MP camera and a 1,900mAh battery.
It’s not the most powerful phone on the block, but it’s sure to grab at least a few looking to save on their monthly build. A near-stock build of Android powers the device; this is a great option for Android purists. If you’re interested in the phone, it will cost $250 off-contract, a decent price for a device with no commitments. Anyone planning on getting the Engage?
