Google Adds Subscription Content Trials To The Play Store

A few months ago Google added subscriptions to the Play store, allowing app developers to sell out additional content for their apps. Now Google is going a step further, and at the will of the developer, trial periods for the subscription content can be added. Starting at 7 days, the developers can set how long the trial periods are.

However, payment information must be added to obtain the free trial. And, if you go past the trial without subscribing, it charges you for the full subscription. It’s sure to make developers some money, and benefits consumers with the free trial. Anyone excited for this new feature?
