Google, Samsung Working On 10″ Nexus Tablet To Compete With iPad?

According to sources obtained by CNET, Google and Samsung are working to produce a 10” Nexus tablet to compete directly with the iPad. The 10.1” tablet is said to boast a pixel density higher than the third generation iPad with a 2560 x 1600 display with a 299 ppi. The 299 pixels per inch number tops the 2048 x 1536 264ppi display of the third generation iPad.

CNET’s report is notable as they’ve learned that Google will partner with Samsung for the co-branded tablet and would signify another boost in the relationship between the two companies. The source itself is Richard Shim, an analyst at NPD DisplaySearch who is confident in his conclusion based on “supply chain indications.”

Furthermore, Shim “confirmed” that Google will start production on a $99 Nexus tablet in December.

What do you think of a 10” Nexus tablet?

This would be amazing. Google and Sammy can do it and it will sell like hotcakes. I'm sick of Apple and their outrageous prices while they make record profits, go figure! Yet the mindless iSheep keep buying their products.

If this is true, you can have my money... I'd kill for a 10' Nexus tablet that's on par with the iPad.. hopefully they can keep the cost down as well...
