HTC DLX Details Leak, May Be HTC’s Galaxy Note Alternative

Samsung has found great success with their Galaxy Note, a device that’s half phone and half tablet. In fact, the launch of the Galaxy Note II is right around the corner, and it has already been met with rave reviews. LG has so far been the only manufacturer to bring a competitor to the phablet, in the form of the LG Intuition. However, a new leak suggest that HTC may finally be getting in on the phablet game.

Long time HTC insider, who goes by Football, leaked some new info on the device via Twitter today. Specs include a 5-inch full HD display, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 12MP camera and 2500mAh battery. Jelly Bean powers the device, making this phone quite the powerhouse.

Whether or not you believe the leak is up to you, but it sounds like HTC may have something that could give the Galaxy Note II a run for its money.

The only way this could compete with the Galaxy Note 2 is if they put a Tegra 3 &make it the best gaming phone available, other than that it will be another fail from HTC.It sucks because HTC is a great company but they always fall short. Thus also needs 2 full gb of RAM, very important for how multitask heavy phones are becoming.-KID ANDROID (Team.Android.Canada)

Non-removable 2,500mah battery? Note II wins on that front.

AlbertoBarrera If non-removable, no-go.  5in LTE, 2500 will not be that great.  Anyone can live with 2100 removable, but to go 2500 and non is just not that smart.  Lots of people didn't go for the HTC one X for storage and battery.  Seems like more of the same.
