LG Nexus Review Pops Up, Oh Those Russians

Leave it to the Russians to post a review of a phone that hasn’t even been announced yet. Hilarious, this is why they rule the internet (mostly YouTube). Anyway, the Russians have posted a review of the LG Nexus, when Google hasn’t even announced the thing. There are some cool new details in the review, too. Here are a few:

  • The inclusion of a multi-colored LED noficiation
  • There are no pogo pins for accessories
  • The micro SIM slot is on the left side below the volume rocker
  • The back is completely smooth and glossy, perhaps scratch-resistent glass
  • The sides of the device are made from a matte black rubberized plastic
  • Size is 134 x 69.2 x 9.2 mm (thicker and wider than the GNex)
  • Weight is 139 g

There are no final verdicts in the review, as they were playing with a prototype. The software was buggy and the device didn’t run at peak performance. Still, they gave us a good look at the device with some important details. Google, step up your game! Gotta keep those secrets better! What do you guys think? Tell us your thoughts in the comments!

My gnex notification has diff color lights..at least seen white & red but don't know what it means..prob get rid of it cuz poor volume levels that Google refuses to fix despite numerous complaint...and the tech support people aren't familiar with JellyBean or the hardware. A lot if things I wanted to do I figured out myself after they told me its impossible..plus no one has told me how I can easily copy all stuff ..apps..pics..videos..music and all files from one phone to another..makes it so annoying & time consuming & a pain to get new Android...iPhone you just connect to iTunes & it all transfers seamlessly...android keeps giving me one problem after another

Hmm the screen reminds me of the G2x and it's screen which curved off to each side into the bezel (good for swiping left to right or vice versa)

Also the benchmarks look quite poor for a S4 Pro... You can see the Note II scores better in Antutu... which is troubling since all it has is an Exynos. Hopefully that's just pre-production software issues as the S4 is more powerful
