Motorola’s previous patent infringement claims were always thrown out because Motorola decided to use standard essential patents and couldn’t win. However, their last lawsuit filed in August seemed like it’d finally be the one to win something. But strangely, Motorola just withdrew their claims out of nowhere. In their filing they stated, “There are no agreements between Motorola and Apple, written or oral, express or implied, concerning the subject matter of this investigation.”
