PlayStation Mobile Becomes Available On Select Android devices

Earlier today, Sony launched its Playstation Mobile game market. Not entirely unlike the PlayStation features we’ve seen in handsets like the Xperia Play, this is a more open environment where developers and partners can work together for a bigger ecosystem. Playstation Mobile has released, not just on Sony’s own 2 dozen Xperia devices, however, it is also available for HTC’s One V, S,  and X models. However early reports show that the HTC devices are not able to access PlayStation Mobile quite yet. It is expected that these, and other models, will soon have the full-on experience. Despite the number of non-Sony phones compatible with PlayStation Mobile ist still quite small, Sony has plans to make this service a major mobile gaming outlet. Further restrictions for the service require that users reside in either Japan, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Australia to get in on the action. Once purchased, these games can be played on up to three devices.

The initial selection of games isn’t too expansive, however, Sony has promised that new titles will be added every Wednesday. The full launch list can be found below:
