Samsung Galaxy S III Mini Uses ST-Ericsson’s NovaThor ModAp Processor

There’s some more news on our favorite little disappointment, the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini. Samsung was hesitant to announce the type of processor inside of the S III Mini, for whatever reason, and simply called it a “1 GHz dual core processor.” However, credit shall be given to the company who made the chip. The S III Mini contains an ST-Ericsson NovaThor ModAp processor, which is a dual core clocked at 1 GHz with an integrated modem. Not a powerhouse by any standards, nor the Exynos we were hoping for, but for a budget phone, it shall do.
