In an attempt to keep their customers as up-to-date as possible, Samsung has made a listing on their device support page giving a timeline for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrades for their U.S. Galaxy SIII models as well as their Nexus devices. As already known, Android 4.1 is currently available for the Nexus S 4G and Galaxy Nexus variations. An impending update to Jelly Bean for the GSIII on Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon have been tagged as “coming soon”. October has been the target that Samsung has been aiming for to complete their latest flagship phone’s upgrade to Jelly Bean, and several carrier-specific versions of the software have leaked in recent weeks. Still, there always seems to be some sort of delay with US carriers when it comes to delivering upgrades in a timely fashion.
If you’re interested in keeping up to date on when the Galaxy SIII or another model receives a Jelly Bean update, it is highly advised you bookmark the site to reference later.
