Sprint Announces Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean Update For Galaxy S III, Starts Today
Congratulations Sprint Galaxy S III owners as the carrier announces it is making the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update available for the Samsung device. The update includes a whole bunch of enhancements which include Google Now, Android Beam, LTE system selection improvements, new Notification shade and more. Sprint says the update will begin in stages later today and highlights that you may receive a message indicating no update is available when checking for the update, and to check back later or wait until a notification is sent to the device.
Sprint’s listed install instructions on their website as well as checking for the update by hitting: Apps > Settings > About phone > System Update > Update Samsung Software > Check now.
