The first device getting an update today is the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch, which recently had the Epic 4G Touch part of the name torn off. It’s getting a small update to software version S:D710.10S.FI27, which brings a few fixes to email, MMS, and VPN. It’s still Ice Cream Sandwich folks.
Next up is the ZTE Fury. It’s also getting a small update, keeping the Android version the same. It is supposed to increase speakerphone volume, reduce battery consumption, and update the network option settings menu. Quite simple and small, but a battery life boost is nothing to scoff at.
If you want these updates, go into Settings and check to see if you can download it now. They’re rolling out in stages, so you may not get them immediately. If you do, tell us how it goes!
